The Client Reporting feature enables agencies to create detailed, professional SEO reports that can be customized with your agency's branding. Reports can be generated on-demand or scheduled for automatic delivery to clients.

How to Use Client Reporting
Reports Tab
View all your generated reports in a table showing:
- Report name and date created
- Format (PDF, HTML, or CSV)
- Status (Ready, Sent, or Scheduled)
- Actions: Download, Email, or Delete
Click “Generate Report” to create a new one.
Templates Tab
Choose from 6 ready-made templates:
- Comprehensive SEO Report - Everything in one report
- Executive Summary - High-level overview for managers
- Technical SEO Audit - For developers and tech teams
- Content Performance - Content and keyword focus
- Competitor Analysis - Compare with other sites
- Local SEO Report - Local search performance
Click “Use Template” to start with any template.
Scheduling Tab
Set up automatic reports:
- Enable scheduled reports with a toggle
- Choose frequency: Weekly, Bi-weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly
- Add email addresses to send reports to
- Turn on auto-send to email reports automatically
Settings Tab
Configure your defaults:
- Default report format (PDF, HTML, or CSV)
- Enable white label branding (Agency license only)
- Choose which metrics to include by default

How to Generate Reports
Navigate to Agency Hub
Go to ProRank SEO → Agency Hub → Client Reporting in your WordPress admin
Select Report Template
Choose from the Templates tab or click "Generate Report" to select a template
Configure Report Options
Select date range, metrics to include, and format (PDF, HTML, or CSV)
Generate and Download
Click "Generate Report" to create the report. Download it or send directly to clients

Schedule Options
- Weekly: Every Monday morning
- Bi-Weekly: Every other Monday
- Monthly: First day of each month
- Quarterly: First day of each quarter
Setting Up Scheduled Reports
- Go to the "Scheduling" tab in Client Reporting
- Enable "Scheduled Reports" toggle
- Select frequency (weekly, monthly, etc.)
- Add recipient email addresses
- Choose default metrics and template
- Save schedule settings

Troubleshooting Common Issues
Quick solutions to get your reports working
“No license key found”
Solution: Go to ProRank SEO → Support & Account and activate your license key.
“License tier doesn't support reporting”
Solution: Client Reporting requires Business tier or higher. Upgrade your license to unlock this feature.
“Failed to generate report”
Solution: Check your internet connection and ensure the ProRank.io server is accessible. If the issue persists, try clearing your browser cache or contact support.
“No data available in reports”
Solution: Connect your Google Search Console and Google Analytics in ProRank SEO → Analytics → Integrations. Reports need these connections to pull real data.
“Scheduled reports not sending”
Solution: Ensure WP-Cron is running on your server. Check email settings in WordPress and verify recipient email addresses are correct.
“White label not applying”
Solution: Configure white label settings in Agency Hub → White Label first. Only available with Agency tier license.
