The Four Research Methods
Choose the tab that matches what you want to do
Tab 1: Content Analysis
When to use: You have an article or page already written
How to use it:
- 1. Copy your article or web page content
- 2. Paste it in the text box (up to 3000 characters)
- 3. Click "Analyze Keywords"
Example: If you wrote a blog post about "healthy breakfast ideas", paste it here to find related keywords you might have missed.
Tab 2: Topic Research
When to use: You want to write about something new
How to use it:
- 1. Type your main topic or idea
- 2. Be specific (e.g., "vegan protein sources" not just "food")
- 3. Click "Analyze Keywords"

Tab 3: Competitor Analysis
When to use: You want to see what keywords your competitors use
How to use it:
- 1. Find a competitor's article that ranks well

When to use: You have Google Search Console connected
How to use it:
- 1. Make sure Google Search Console is connected (in Analytics)
- 2. Enter a filter word (optional) to narrow results
- 3. Click "Analyze Keywords"

Intent Badges (What People Want)
People want to learn something. Write helpful guides and tutorials.
People want to buy something. Focus on product pages and shop sections.
People looking for a specific website. Good for brand names.
People comparing products. Create comparison and review pages.
Difficulty Levels (How Hard to Rank)
Great for new websites! You can rank for these quickly.
Requires some effort but achievable with good content.
Very competitive. Focus on these after building authority.
Opportunity Score (0-100)
Higher numbers = better opportunities for your website:
- 70-100: Excellent - prioritize these keywords!
- 40-69: Good - worth targeting
- 0-39: Challenging - save for later

Target Location
Choose where your customers are located. Default is United States.
Target Audience
Describe who you're trying to reach (e.g., "small business owners" or "parents with young children")
AI Model
Leave on default unless you have a preference. All models work great!

Pro Tips for Better Results
Start with Easy keywords: If you're new, focus on green "Easy" difficulty keywords first. They're quicker wins!
Be specific: Instead of broad topics like "fitness", try "home workouts for beginners" for better results.
Check clusters: Keywords are grouped by topic. Use multiple keywords from the same cluster in one article.
Regular research: Do keyword research monthly to find new opportunities as trends change.
Common Questions
No results appearing?
Make sure you have configured your AI provider in AI Tools → Configuration. You need at least one API key set up.
How many keywords should I target?
Start with 5-10 keywords per page. Focus on one main keyword and use others as supporting keywords.
Can I research in other languages?
Yes! Enter your content or topic in any language. The AI will analyze it accordingly.
What's the difference between the AI models?
All models provide good results. Gemini is free to start, GPT-4 is very accurate, Claude is great for context understanding.
