Overview

Google Search Console provides essential data about how your site performs in Google search results. ProRank SEO integrates this data to give you actionable insights directly in WordPress.

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Verify Site Ownership

First, verify your website in Google Search Console:

  1. Go to Google Search Console
  2. Click "Add property"
  3. Enter your website URL
  4. Choose verification method (ProRank SEO supports HTML tag)
  5. Copy the verification meta tag

Step 2: Add Verification Tag

ProRank SEO can automatically add the verification tag:

  1. Go to ProRank SEO → Settings → Webmaster Tools
  2. Paste the verification code in the Google field
  3. Save changes
  4. Return to Search Console and click "Verify"

Step 3: Connect API

  1. Navigate to ProRank SEO → Analytics
  2. Click "Connect Search Console"
  3. Authorize ProRank SEO to access your data
  4. Select your verified property
  5. Click "Apply" to start syncing
